Why you should participate at the OASIS workshop in Rennes?
– To know more about the activities of Bio-facilities in Brittany:
Flow Cytometry
Bio-Imaging
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) with a focus on their specific needs in Photonics (e.g. laser sources, fiber sensors…).
– To present your products and to exchange with experts in Bio-sciences.
– To initiate collaborations with partners and to build up strong projects (*).
See the agenda attached.
Bio-facilities under the spot-light
PRISM is a collaborative research platform covering activities in 4 application fields:
- Ani-Scans – Multi-Modality Imaging applied to a pig model
- Agro-Scans – Multi-Scale MRI and NMR applied to agronomy and food science
- Bio-Scans – MRI and MRS applied to small animal models and clinical applications
- Bio-NMR – Structural and Biological NMR Spectroscopy.
Amarok Biotechnologies is a private research laboratory offering contract services for biological reagents and analytical systems validation (FDA or CE-IVD Marking), research and development, and training.
Amarok Biotechnologies’ Flow cytometry facility core proposes services based on a Gallios 3 lasers (violet, blue, red) system, with detection of up to 10 colors simultaneously, and a Canto 2 lasers (blue, red) system for various analyses.
Other systems can be proposed in function of the request and the availability of our industrial partners.
H2P2 is a research platform specialized in histopathology. Its core facility provides scientists with standard histological tools (freezing, fixation, tissue embedding, microtome and cryostat sectioning, staining, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization), as well as more advanced technology, such as laser capture micro-dissection, and tissue Micro-Array (TMA). Owing to its high-level of expertise, the platform collaborates on studies in oncology, pathology, and toxicological studies in humans and animals. The facilities are also used in developmental biology applied to animals and plants.
ImPACcell is a research platform on cellular imaging specialized in screening and functional analysis. Its core facility provides high-content cell screening / analysis (HCS / HCA) for detecting, analyzing and quantifying biological phenomena such as toxicity, cell motility, cell cycle, apoptosis, disruption of signaling pathways between cells and in small organisms. ImPACcell comprises 3 units:
- Automated cell culture and testing,
- Automated microscopy for multifactorial and multi-parametric image analysis,
- Bio-screening for exogenous molecules based on the study of different adherent cell lines on cell culture plates (6 to 384-wells plate).
