Lasers are the preferred tool for many tasks in materials processing, but how to create the optimal beam profile? How to analyze the quality of the laser beam and the processing result or even monitor the process? What technologies are available on the market and suitable for my needs? And what experiences have other users already had? The shaping, analysis and monitoring of the laser beam are crucial for optimal processing of the material by laser.

The workshop offered by AMS Technology on June 25th during the Laser World of Photonics fair on laser beam modeling, analysis and monitoring in material processing applications offers answers to these questions. Seven technical experts from five different countries will provide participants with all relevant facts and trends related to laser beam in materials processing. The EPIC workshop “Shaping, Analyzing and Monitoring the Laser Beam in Material Processing Applications” will show what current techniques are available and what experience users have gained with these techniques.

The target audience of the workshop are users and system integrators who already use or plan to apply laser systems in material processing. The workshop will last approximately 1h30. The EPIC workshop presentations will be conducted in English and technical experts will be available for discussions during a networking lunch that will be offered after the presentations.
