The call for Biophotonics+ project was opened, aiming at companies operating in Catalonia area. Biophotonics+ focuses on developing transnational R&D in the field of photonics applications in life sciences and health. The center of gravity of the proposal will be optical or photonics technologies. The call is supported by the European Commission and is managed by agencies from participating countries and regions: Catalonia (ACC1Ó), Flanders (IWT), Germany (VDI), Israel (MATIMOP), Latvia (LZA), Tuscany (Region Tuscany) and the UK (TSB).The Catalan origin companies operating in Catalonia may participate in the call. Research centers, technology centers, universities, etc. can participate as subcontractors for companies. To be eligible, projects must have a minimum of two independent entities of two countries or regions involved in the call.

Calendar of the call:
1st phase: submission of pre-proposals – deadline: December 17th, 2012.
2nd phase: submission of proposals (only valid proposals that previously have been submitted as pre-proposals) – deadline: April 9, 2013.
