Area Sales Engineer (m/f)
After thorough hands‐on training, you will take over a wide range of responsibilities managing the scientific sales of Coherent products. The main customer base is leading research institutes and universities. Your job will consist of driving new account development and expansion of the existing customer base.
Tasks & responsibilities:
– Looking after existing customers and acquiring new ones, primarily in terms of science for the region of Spain and Portugal
– Providing initial consultation and evaluation in respect of incoming telephone and e-mail enquiries
– Developing customer-specific laser solutions for research and development (includes the Coherent portfolio of laser sources and laser tools)
– Coordinating sales projects and after-sales customer support
– Communicating technical product solutions independently within the Company
Profile:
– Successfully completed studies, specializing in laser applications (e.g. physics, physical chemistry, laser technology)
– High degree of self-organization and teamwork skills
– High degree of communicative and interpersonal skills
– Structured, pragmatic and assertive approach to work, combined with a thorough and effective way of working
– Fluent in Spanish, Italian and English
