We are seeking a talented and experienced Optical Engineer / Physicist (other backgrounds may be considered if sufficiently backed by experience) mainly for the design, simulation, testing and implementation of beam shaping and colour mixing optics for LED modules.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Design of colour mixing primary optics

Far field and near field measurements and reporting

Selection and implementation of optical sensors

Secondary optics analysis

Good communication skills and proactive negotiations and follow-ups with national and international providers and manufacturers

REQUIRED

BSc. Optical Engineering, BSc. in Physics, or the like.

Extensive knowledge in optical design with simulation software

At least 3 years of experience in a similar position

Knowledge and experience in the lighting sector is a plus

English level: Negotiation

OTHER VALUABLE SKILLS

Programming in C or Python

Experience with Solid Works or other CAD tools

Prototyping and manufacturing processes

Good contact network with optical-grade manufacturers / providers for the lighting industry
