CTRL4 ENVIRO provides customized video analytics for Smart Cities, energy efficiency and industry. With a sensoring and automation strong back ground, currently it develops its own sensors based on image analysis using machine learning a deep learning tools. It prepares its own neural networks to adjust the best detection and classification from any kind of image. Images can come from conventional cameras but also from thermal, depth or IR.

The company was born in 2006 as an Start-Up in the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where it is still based. It has participated in several research projects with different of its Departments.
Smart Cities are its main market but it is also entering industry currently. Some of its achievements are:

• Measuring and classifying urban flows (pedestrians, vehicles).
• Measuring and determining position of bodies.
• Detecting events following a certain pattern.
• Determining textures and colours.
• Measuring temperature through images.
