OXIPACK is a project of technological innovation applied to food photonic technologies Packaging sector.

The aim of OXIPACK project is to improve food security in packaged foods from the development of a system consisting of a sensor that detects whether inside the packaging the oxygen content exceeds a certain threshold that can generate changes in the food.

This is an initiative in which SECPhO, tecnological Center Leitat and the Centre for Sensors, Instruments and Systems Development (UPC) involved.

This initiative has been funded by the program of support for Innovative Business Groupings of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism in its 2015 call.
